Bat becomes intrigued by a Colorado mine but quickly realizes that the working conditions are hazardous. Despite this, the general manager insists on keeping the miners on the job. Determined to make a change, Bat sets out to persuade the other stakeholders, including the mine’s attractive namesake, to prioritize safety improvements for the workers.
