As Schmidt's birthday celebrations for his 29th take a nosedive, Jess steps in to salvage the day, recruiting her eager vice-principal to help throw a party. Meanwhile, Nick reluctantly goes on his first date at Schmidt's bash with a stunning lawyer who has a hidden agenda. The group is also left puzzled over the mystery of who dropped a $50 bill into the infamous douchebag jar.
