Schmidt is thrilled to find a string of recent emails from his idol, Michael Keaton, who has been corresponding with Nick since childhood. However, he soon discovers that the heartfelt messages were actually crafted by his mother and Nick pretending to be the actor. Meanwhile, Cece copes with her breakup from Schmidt by throwing extravagant parties every night.
