Jo and PJ stumble upon the body of a young woman at the edge of a cliff, initially suspected to be a suicide. To PJ's shock, he learns that his new roommate, Marco Fiorelli, not only knew the victim but that she was employed by his father. As PJ digs deeper, he uncovers that Marco's father is under investigation by the fraud squad for embezzling $15 million through fake assets. Tensions rise when creditors confront the family and abduct Jo, believing she holds the key to finding Fiorelli. Faced with the danger to Jo, PJ realizes his true feelings for her—but will it be too late to act?
