Episode Overview
The third victim of the Mt. Thomas serial killer is a gay teacher named Leon Barclay. PJ and Amy uncover a connection between him and the second victim, Merinda May, which leads them to a therapy group for sexual abuse survivors run by psychologist Dr. Bill Lapscott. Their concern arises from the fact that the first victim did not participate in this group, prompting Amy to go undercover to investigate potential patterns in the victims' selection. As group members share their traumatic experiences, Amy fabricates her own story. Although she later claims it was a lie, Bill sees through her facade and invites her to get to know her better. Meanwhile, Garth starts to suspect that Bill might be the killer, a theory that gains traction when they find out Bill lived on the same street as Janelle Watts, the first victim. Doubting Garth's theory, Amy begins searching for other suspects and starts to consider Jeff, Janelle's father, as a possible killer. In the
