PJ finds himself as a key witness in a case involving the local MP, Tabias. When the prosecutor falls ill with appendicitis, Maggie steps in to take their place. However, she faces a tough challenge going up against the seasoned defense attorney, Brady Jackson. As Maggie and Brady develop a rapport, PJ begins to feel a twinge of jealousy over their growing friendship.
