Episode Overview

Tom finds himself in a tough position when a mother pleads with him to safeguard her son, a recently released felon. This young man was involved in a particularly heinous armed robbery at a local real estate agency, which left the owner’s wife so devastated that she took her own life. While the husband appears reasonable, could he secretly harbor a desire for revenge? The family is receiving threatening phone calls and experiencing vandalism. The Heelers investigate the son’s former associate and stumble upon a stolen police firearm in his possession. This discovery brings Detective Sergeant Ben Stewart from Organised Crime to Mt. Thomas, who has been tracking these stolen weapons for two years. He quickly adapts to life in Mt. Thomas, much to PJ’s discomfort, as he shows immediate interest in Maggie and considers asking her out.
