Episode Overview

Tom finds it challenging to concentrate on his duties as he becomes captivated by a mysterious woman. After two homes are broken into, with large amounts of cash left on kitchen tables, the Heelers are puzzled. Are these sums gifts or stolen loot? They track down the culprit, who claims he is trying to make amends through charitable acts, but PJ suspects he may be committing fraud. When the man seeks spiritual guidance, Tom discovers that the new Anglican Minister, Grace Curtis, is the woman he's been intrigued by. The man soon vanishes, and his car is found ablaze. Is this an act of vengeance or desperation from someone close to him? Tom and the Reverend must intervene to prevent the man's well-meaning generosity from endangering his life and his family's happiness.
