Episode Overview
Jonesy feels restless when a wrestling troupe he used to be part of rolls into town. Meg, the owner and an ex-girlfriend, openly shows her interest in him. The troupe is facing tough times, especially after a prized wrestling belt goes missing, jeopardizing their survival. Many of the veteran wrestlers are unhappy with Meg's vision for the group, raising suspicions that one of them might have stolen the belt to safeguard their legacy. Things take a dangerous turn when a pyrotechnics mishap severely injures an older wrestler, prompting Meg to lean on Jonesy for emotional support. As signs point toward Meg's involvement in the theft, Jonesy grapples with disbelief. Tess suspects Meg's intentions, leading her to challenge Jonesy's judgement. Torn between loyalty and doubt, Jonesy faces a pivotal decision when Meg offers him a chance to leave the police force and join her in the wrestling troupe. Is he truly familiar with her motives, and what does his future hold?
