As Arak and his hunters close in, the trio takes refuge in the remnants of an old subway station. Miraculously, one train is still operational, and it whisks them away to meet Zack, a kind hermit who has the unique ability to communicate with the formidable giant ants known as Anomas. Meanwhile, Arak manages to track them down.
