Episode Overview

Gil Favor receives permission from rancher Jed Reston to lead his cattle across Reston's land. However, he soon realizes that Reston harbors deep-seated prejudice against Native Americans, particularly toward a local Comanche named Taslatch, who aspires to be a farmer and has ordered a plow through the mail. Recently, Reston had his son, Matt, unjustly punish Taslatch with 15 lashes for a fabricated rustling accusation. Favor finds himself at odds with Reston as he stands up for Taslatch. As tensions rise, the threat of violence between the Comanches and townsfolk looms, prompting Favor to take urgent action to prevent conflict.
