Episode Overview
Title: The Gray Rock Hotel Plot: Favor arrives in a deserted town with five of his men, who are ill from contaminated food or water, and takes them to the Gray Rock Hotel. Lottie, en route to Fort McCloud, finds herself stranded when her horse goes lame. Favor requests her assistance in tending to the sick men and dispatches Quince to Gold Ridge in search of a doctor. Meanwhile, four men are on Lottie's trail, and she attempts to stir conflict among Favor’s drovers. She confides in Favor about being on the run. Mushy intervenes to protect her from Marty's unwanted advances, and when Quince falls from his horse, the four men discover him. Lottie also asks Favor to teach her how to handle a gun.
