Episode Overview

Colonel Emilio Vasquez "acquires" 200 cattle from Quince, Jed, and Simon in Mexico. Jed heads into town to check the value of the pesos, only to learn from the gringo who manages the place that they're worthless. Meanwhile, Emilio's wife, Maria, is stuck at the local bar. Emilio secretly infiltrates the town and kills the gringo but fails to rescue Maria. Jed manages to flee with her, leading to a heated confrontation between him and Emilio over the conditions for her return.
