Episode Overview

Mina and Karen acquire a four-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex for a mere $4,000. However, they quickly discover that the property has one of the worst foundations they’ve seen, along with perilous floor joists on the second floor. Mina anticipates that the renovation costs could exceed $200,000. As Tad begins demolishing the chimney and inadvertently creates a hole in the roof, their worries about the budget intensify. Despite these challenges, the duo remains hopeful that their meticulous approach to transforming the duplex into a beautifully finished single-family home will ultimately pay off.
