Episode Overview
Janet's world fell apart when her husband of 32 years passed away while awaiting a heart transplant, leading her to spiral into extreme hoarding. In her grief, she has compulsively shopped, cluttering her home with decorating supplies for the renovations she and her husband had planned. Meanwhile, Christina, a former psychologist, is struggling to breathe under the weight of her possessions. Suffering from chronic asthma, she often finds herself gasping for air and even turning blue from exhaustion. Her home is overflowing with clothes for her twelve-year-old daughter, Hanna, and despite much of it remaining unworn for years, Christina clings to it, needing to declutter before her health worsens.
