With Earth under alien occupation, Bill finds herself isolated in a desolate Britain. Meanwhile, the Doctor is detained and seemingly collaborating with the invaders, spreading disinformation across the airwaves. Determined to save him, Bill teams up with Nardole on a perilous quest to rescue the Doctor and rally the resistance against their oppressors, willing to face any danger to reclaim their world.
