After Jack's confrontation with Amanda ends tragically, Sydney leverages the situation to blackmail Amanda and Peter, demanding half of her estate share. In a desperate move, Amanda sells her portion for just a dollar in exchange for keeping the autopsy records confidential. Frustrated with life at Peter's place, Kimberly is ready for a change. Amanda offers Sydney's apartment to Kimberly and sends her off to the beach house. Meanwhile, Hayley pops the question to Alison, who goes on a business trip with Billy. When their plane unexpectedly lands in the desert, Alison attempts to express her feelings, but Billy interrupts with news of Brooke's pregnancy. Eventually, Alison and Hayley tie the knot in Mexico. Jo tracks Richard to Hawaii and quickly becomes intimate with him, while Matt discovers that Michael has tampered with his test results.
