Episode Overview
Amanda receives a nomination for the magazine's Businesswoman of the Year award and is seen as a top contender. In a bid to sway the editor-in-chief, Drew MacKenzie, Lexi sleeps with him, hoping to secure the accolade for herself. When her scheme backfires, she spreads a rumor that Amanda achieved her win through her relationship with Drew. Megan uncovers the truth after overhearing a conversation between Lexi and Drew. Jane informs Amanda, who then publicly shames Lexi during her acceptance speech, ironically presenting her with the award. Tensions rise as Jane accuses Megan of an affair with Michael, who later suggests eloping. After Michael punches Alex for insinuating he's rushing due to jealousy, Jane threatens to cancel the wedding unless he trusts her. She temporarily retreats back to her apartment. Meanwhile, Peter and Eve embark on their first date at a miniature golf course, where Peter is charmed by her excitement over simple pleasures like hot dogs.
