Episode Overview

After the murder of mud wrestler Tanya, witness Joey Mellman approaches Chris and Rita, claiming he can assist in identifying the murderer. However, Lance and Lorenzo quickly become frustrated as Joey tags along, disrupting their investigation. Meanwhile, the two Sams visit Tanya's home, where they encounter Cindi Dann, her dressing room companion. They uncover that Tanya had multiple boyfriends, a husband, and struggled with a significant drug issue. When they question her husband, Paul Yeager, his alibi fails verification, making him a prime suspect. In a twist, the captain must take Joey into protective custody after an attempt on his life.
