Joe, a farmer with a college degree, relocates to Walnut Grove with his expectant wife. He introduces the local farmers to an innovative hybrid corn promising impressive yields, sparking their excitement. Eager to try it out, they agree to purchase the new seed. However, as Joe heads back to Walnut Grove with the seeds in tow, he encounters an unfortunate accident, leaving the farmers anxiously awaiting his arrival.
