Charles takes the girls on a getaway, leaving Caroline behind. Just before they head out, she accidentally scratches her leg on a rusty nail. Initially, she feels fine, but as the trip goes on, Caroline's condition deteriorates, and she starts to feel increasingly weak and unwell.
