Episode Overview

Mr. Edwards and Doc Baker rush to assist a neighboring community grappling with a mountain fever outbreak. Upon his return, a quarantine is enforced in Walnut Grove. Unfortunately, Alicia, Mr. Edwards' adopted daughter, contracts the illness. Desperate to aid her, Mr. Edwards does everything he can. Unaware of the ongoing health crisis, Laura pays a visit to Alicia and Mr. Edwards. As the fever takes its toll, Laura steps in to care for both, providing support as they navigate their recovery from the illness.
