Episode Overview

After the death of his wife, Lansford Ingalls, Charles' father, struggles to find a reason to go on living. In an effort to support him, Charles invites his father to Walnut Grove to start anew. Meanwhile, when Laura's horse suffers an injury, she directs her frustration towards her grandfather, holding him responsible for the mishap.
