Episode Overview

Following the destruction of Mr. Garvey's barn, which housed their crops, his wife, Alice, starts working at the post office. Mr. Garvey disapproves, convinced that a man should be the sole provider for his family. Frustrated with the situation, he contemplates divorce, but eventually comes to understand how his pride is negatively impacting their family dynamic.
