Episode Overview
In a heartfelt gesture, Charles parts with his fiddle to purchase a special gift for Mary. During the celebration, Mary surprises Pa by returning his beloved instrument. Laura presents Mary with a card, and Mary beams with pride as she admires Laura's braille writing. The atmosphere is emotional, bringing tears to the eyes of nearly everyone present, including Mrs. Oleson. In a touching moment, Mary declares that she has no wishes left, as she feels she possesses everything she could ever desire.
