Episode Overview

Mrs. Oleson transforms her eatery into a franchise, but struggles to meet the franchise's demanding standards. In response, Charles and Nels team up to launch their own restaurant directly across the street. Their new venture soon drives Mrs. Oleson's establishment into bankruptcy. With the competitive landscape shifted, the town gradually returns to its usual rhythm, or as close to it as possible.
