Episode Overview
As the seasoned group travels through the Great Plains, the Midwest, and onto Washington D.C., they face a whirlwind of emotions. A fierce thunderstorm looms over them, but a stay at a hotel in Wichita introduces them to the enchanting world of MTV. The journey also takes a poignant turn as it highlights the story of a rider who succumbed to AIDS in the early '90s. Along the way, injuries and a clash with locals necessitate a hospital visit. However, a day spent at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and a Cardinals game brings much-needed joy.
