Defenders of the Earth (1986)

Episode Overview

Ming builds a dam near the Sea of Japan, redirecting the warm ocean currents toward Antarctica, which leads to the melting of the polar ice caps and threatens global flooding. The Defenders hurry to the Arctic to stop the glaciers from collapsing further, but they are confronted by Ming's Ice Robots and Garax. They manage to hold off the Ice Robots just long enough to return to the U.S., where they learn that Ming's dam is the cause of the catastrophic flooding. Lothar proposes using the untested X-26 missile to destroy the dam, while Ming manipulates an iceberg, sending it towards New York City.
