Episode Overview

To make up for missing Gabe's long-awaited 12th birthday celebration, Amy and Bob decide to throw him a 12 ½ birthday party, especially after Gabe promises to behave for an entire week. Unfortunately, their plans coincide with a major blizzard. At the same time, Ivy and Teddy are struggling to maintain their friendship due to Ivy's disapproval of Teddy's new boyfriend, Derek. They each visit one another's homes to resolve their issues, but the snowstorm complicates things. While Ivy enjoys the festivities for Gabe’s party, Teddy finds it hard to deal with Ivy's parents, Mary Lou and Harry. Meanwhile, PJ steps in to help Bob shed a few pounds.
