Episode Overview

After discovering the legendary Buddhist realm of Shambhala in Kathmandu and venturing into the skycaves, Gates persists in his quest for the true Shangri-La. He stumbles upon a rock tower that served as a burial site, revealing bones that date back to 800 A.D. Following this, he journeys to Lo Manthang for further exploration in the Martzon area, where he tackles the cave system known as Pumamba, tied to the myth. Finally, he makes his way to Chuusang, a secluded cave monastery that has yet to be excavated.
