Episode Overview

Josh embarks on a quest to locate the elusive mummy of Atahualpa, the final ruler of the Incan empire, believed to be concealed in the Andes Mountains and the lush jungles and highlands of Ecuador. Atahualpa's reign was tragically cut short when Spanish Conquistador Francisco Pizarro assassinated him, leading to the downfall of the Inca civilization. Despite his death, the emperor was endowed with immense power and riches, as his body was preserved through a sacred mummification ritual intended to grant him supernatural influence over the living. Since then, his remains have mysteriously disappeared, leaving archaeologists in pursuit of the truth.
