Episode Overview
The comedian sets off on a 126-mile trek east of the Pennines, starting in the picturesque village of Runswick Bay in North Yorkshire. Her quest leads her to search for the unique Whitby Jet gemstone. After indulging in local cod and chips, she visits the haunting ruins of Whitby Abbey, known for its influence on iconic scenes from Bram Stoker's Dracula. Following a visit to Mother Shipton's Cave, England's oldest tourist spot, she joins a group that reenacts Roman gladiatorial combat in York. Susan's journey concludes at Malham Cove, an impressive cliff shaped like a grand amphitheater.
