Episode Overview
Emily discovers Charlie's infidelity, leading to their breakup. Kathleen confronts him, expressing her desire for their relationship to progress beyond being just another fling. Meanwhile, Sarah is upset with Bailey for keeping his college plans a secret from her. Robin informs Sarah of her impending departure in two days, and when Sarah pleads with her to stay, Robin gifts her cat to Sarah, assuring her that she'll return. Claudia is eager to bond with her grandfather and asks him to move in, but Julia warns her about their mother's resentment toward him for abandoning her. Jake tells Julia he wants to be part of the family, and she agrees, believing their mother would have supported the decision. Jake then moves in.
