Kristen's mood continues to sink, and even her role as Salinger's hostess isn't lifting her spirits. Charlie does his best to support her, but his efforts seem futile; he wishes she could recover quickly, knowing that medication can take weeks to kick in. Meanwhile, Cooper invites Bailey to stay at his place. As Julia begins dating Cooper, things become tense among the trio. Bailey pleads with Julia not to pursue his friend, but she goes ahead anyway, only to realize they don't share much in common. On the hunt for a new apartment, Bailey finds an affordable option with a roommate, Callie, whom Sarah disapproves of, but he reassures her. Claudia faces the daunting task of finding a plumber for a costly pipe issue, and after being scolded for the expense, she reminds them that at 13, this responsibility shouldn't fall on her.
