Dijon becomes a member of the Brotherhood of the Goose, an organization devoted to safeguarding the Golden Goose, a magical bird capable of transforming objects into gold. Under the leadership of his brother Poupon, Dijon takes the goose without permission but inadvertently misplaces it to Scrooge. Scrooge uncovers its extraordinary ability, only to have it snatched away by the Beagle Boys, who have been dispatched by Glomgold to seize the prized creature.
