Victor and Cory delve into the murder of a vice president from a pharmaceutical company who collaborated with local free clinics to provide affordable medications. Their investigation reveals that a large drug manufacturer is supplying substandard imported drugs to clinics and pharmacies serving low-income patients. During the inquiry, Chris is compelled to interrogate BO NYBY, a conspiracy theorist who insists he witnessed the crime. Initially dismissing his claims as irrational, Chris feels remorse when Bo is later shot. To uncover potential truths, she undergoes hypnosis to analyze Bo's statements. Meanwhile, Victor grows uneasy upon discovering that his mother, ROSA, is seeking advice from DR. JAIME SERRANO regarding a health issue she refuses to disclose. A childhood rival of Victor's, Jaime stirs up past animosities, but Victor manages to set aside his feelings and supports Rosa when Jaime delivers the devastating news of her cancer diagnosis.
