Hinata learns that Akari has recently moved in with a new friend, which raises her concern about who this person might be. On their way home from school, Hinata impulsively decides to visit Sophie at her house. To her astonishment, she discovers that Sophie is actually a vampire, leaving her anxious about Akari's safety while living with someone who could potentially harm her.
