In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jarod is devastated by the loss of his brother and assumes the role of an anatomy professor to investigate the disappearance of a boy who vanished on Halloween the previous year. Meanwhile, Miss Parker is unnerved by her father's sudden disappearance, replaced by the enigmatic Mr. Lyle. Accompanying him is Brigitte, a mysterious girl determined to track down Jarod with greater intensity than Miss Parker. Additionally, at Jarod's urging, Sydney delves into why there have been no DSA records for the last three weeks of October leading up to his escape.
