In north-west Wales, two staunchly traditional Welsh contestants go head-to-head with two individuals who enjoy a more adventurous culinary approach. Welsh sheep farmer Gareth Jones struggles with the overwhelming presence of chillis during his hosting duties for car rental manager Dale Gough, turning the evening into quite a challenge. Meanwhile, nature reserve worker Roxanne McFadden, who proudly identifies as Welsh, Mexican, English, and American, is eager to impress with her diverse international menu.
