GPs: Behind Closed Doors (2014)
S03E18 Episode 18
Episode Overview
At Balham Park Surgery, the doctors handle several patients in need of urgent hospital care. One case involves a 29-year-old man who reports experiencing tingling sensations in his hands and feet. Dr. Patrick Bower suspects he may have Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare and serious illness that affects the central nervous system, and promptly refers him to A&E. Meanwhile, Dr. Sara Kayat attends to a man experiencing severe chest pain, particularly when he exerts himself. Given his family history of heart issues and hypertension, she decides to send him straight to the hospital for further evaluation.
