Episode Overview

In 1999, the disappearance of three women in Yosemite National Park triggered the most extensive search and rescue effort in U.S. history. Two of the women are discovered in a charred vehicle, while the third is located only after the murderer sends a provocative letter to the FBI. Five months later, the investigation takes a darker turn when a fourth woman is found beheaded close to the park, leading authorities to suspect that a serial killer could be operating in the area.
