Episode Overview
In 2013, Jimmy Lee Dykes fatally shoots a school bus driver in rural Alabama and abducts a five-year-old boy, taking him to a meticulously built bunker. The FBI learns that the bunker is rigged with explosives and that Dykes is heavily armed. As the tense standoff stretches into its sixth day, Dykes demands to air his complaints on television by the next day, threatening to kill both the boy and himself if his demands are not met.
