Shan Cai discovers that her close friend, Li Chen, was behind the photos displayed on the university's notice board. Li Chen confesses her jealousy, leaving Shan Cai heartbroken. The following day, Li Chen apologizes one last time before leaving the university for good. Meanwhile, F4 takes Shan Cai on a brief trip to Japan. During a beach stroll with Hua Zhe Lei, Shan Cai receives a call from Dao Ming Si, prompting her to return. The next day, Dao Ming Si learns of her meeting with Lei. Later, Shan Cai reads about Jing's upcoming marriage in a magazine and decides to meet Lei again. They share a hug and kiss, unaware that Dao Ming Si is secretly observing. Additionally, Dao Ming Si's sister arrives from New York, bringing attention to the ongoing conflict between him and Lei.
