Upon Haruitsuki's arrival at the shrine, he finds Hanae under the influence of a spider-like yôkai named Sasa. Sasa has been confined by Sakae, leading Hanae to lash out at Haruitsuki, feeling anger towards him for his striking resemblance with his golden eyes and hair.
