Blair's mother, Naomi, covertly sends his Sentinel thesis to a publisher, leading Jim to realize that fame can have serious consequences. As Jim and Blair work to safeguard a local union leader, Jack Bartley, from assassination attempts, details from Blair's paper are leaked to the media. This puts Jim right in the eye of a media storm, complicating their efforts to keep Bartley safe.
