With nine people living under one roof, Mike becomes increasingly annoyed by his lack of personal phone time. In an attempt to solve the issue, he opts to add a second phone line, but this only complicates matters further. Inspired by one of Alice's suggestions, Mike ultimately decides to put a pay phone in the family room to regain some privacy.
