Episode Overview

Captain Striker and his crew expose themselves as Eternals, timeless beings with the ability to read minds, who depend on Ephemerals—humans and other creatures bound by time—to fill the void within them. They compete with other Eternals for the ultimate reward of Enlightenment, a power that could fulfill their most profound desires. This poses a serious threat to the universe, but the Doctor must find a way to outsmart entities skilled at uncovering his every thought.
