Episode Overview

In the mid-1980s on Earth, the alien space station J7 is the setting for a critical mission. The Time Lords have dispatched the second Doctor and Jamie to intervene in perilous time travel experiments. However, their efforts are soon thwarted as the station is besieged by Sontarans. Meanwhile, light-years away in both space and time, the sixth Doctor experiences a severe psychic shock, leaving him in a vulnerable state.
