While enjoying a fishing excursion, Perry Mason and Paul Drake notice a young woman named Sally Fenner being chased by aggressive guard dogs on a nearby island estate. With no other option, Sally leaps into the water to escape the dogs. Perry and Paul quickly rescue her from the water, but soon after, Perry finds himself representing her in court as she faces a murder accusation.
