Meanwhile, Fred indulges in a batch of eight-day-old greens, which makes him ill and leads him to believe he's on the brink of death. This alarming news spreads quickly, thanks to Grady, attracting Aunt Esther and her friends who come out to offer their support during Fred's supposed final days.
